Bathroom Wall Art

Hi All,
I finished this little project a while ago for our bathroom wall. Love the colors and the way it turned out. It brings sweet smiles and memories every time we see it!  If your interested in how I created this read the details below.

DIY Bathroom Wall art
 So this wall art only cost a total of $9.00 I picked up these cute frames (3 5x7's and 1 4x6) at target for $2.00 a piece. First I snapped some shots of my kidos in the bath, edited them and printed them off. Next, I sprayed primer on two of the frames and then painted them with acrylic paints to add some color. For another dollar I grabbed these wall sticker letters at the dollar store and went to town. Fun and the kids love seeing their pictures too!

Fun times in the bath with the Price Kids:
Bathing the kids is so fun and makes for interesting funny times! :) Lately my kids love buying and adding those growing animals to their baths. The kinds that start off in little pill like vessels and "hatch" out of them. They each have a cup they feel with hot water and watch the animals grow, then they spend most the bath time playing with the little creatures which hatch from the "egg" like capsule. They love it!

They also love singing in the bath. It might be the echo or just the reaction they get from us, but they will often break out into a song, "ABC song, Jesus Loves Me, or lately they make up their own songs"

Funny Bathtime quote: (while Mommy was washing A's hair)
Tre-"Mommy, girls have long hair right?"
Mommy- "Yes, some girls have long hair, Tre."
Tre- "Ya, only girls have long hair and only girls have Afro's; right Mommy."
Mommy- "Laughing"...."Tre your funny!"...."No Tre boys and girls can have Afro's, but just cause a girl has long hair, doesn't mean it's an Afro."

So funny! Gotta love bath time!

What I use:
*Swiss (soft) cheese (Happy cow brand) but I have used sliced cheese (any kind as well)
*Sliced bell pepper (any color will do, but the kids like the yellow, red, and orange best)

3 Months with #4

Here is me and baby 4 at 3 months. This is a funny picture but a quick one with the self timer and me trying to take the picture before another little one came a callin! So this is what I got for 3 months!

How I am feeling:
BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.... oh and soooooo TIRED! This number 4 might be a ball of energy because it sure is sucking ALL of mine as of now. I have napped with the kids, when they allow, and my hubby let me nap last weekend and I slept for 4 hours. If you know me at all this is NOT me! I usually go, go, go and go some more. Don't get me wrong I like rest, but I hardly ever took naps but now... oh now baby #4 is demanding it! I have already been sick (with bad cold) twice since being prego and I am praying it will be the last! HOWEVER,  I am so excited to meet this little bundle and have another baby, I mean little baby, in the house! :)

My Cravings:
Well I am craving my classic pregnancy craving... Orange Juice with LOTS of pulp! I have also been craving bell pepper, cheese, and grapes. I also had a sweet tooth for about two weeks... that is never good and I am sure I put on some unwanted lbs from that. Oh well. This is all part of the process; right?

Cute things happening at home:
*The kids will ask every now and then when going to sleep if they can say good night to the baby. They will lean in real close to my tummy and say in there cute little voices, "Goodnight baby, have a good sleep, we love you."
*A was laying on the floor and little J came over and laid on top of her. A said, "You can be the baby in my tummy." So cute!
*My friend, who I can't share the name yet, just told me she is prego too! What a blessing and miracle!

Focusing on:
*Remembering that even when I am not feeling well, growing a little life is a precious gift from God!
* Praying for the baby and enjoying the kids today!
* Trusting the Lord for a safe and quick delivery

Our First Peek

On February 1st we were able to peek at our baby! Our first peek at baby number 4 was a family event! We all headed to the doctors to get a close look at our newest addition. Our Dr. is so great and blessed each of the kids with a photo of their new sibling! We all loved seeing and hearing the baby. We are praising the Lord for another little blessing!

Please keep us in prayer as we continue this journey~! Here are some specific prayer request.
* For the baby to be healthy and that every intricate part will form
* For the nausea to subside or the Lord to give me strength and energy through the nausea
* For the labor and delivery that it would be quick and safe for both Mommy and Baby
* For our transition to 4 as a family

 Thanks for caring and praying!

Tip Time: Save Smart with Tanya

So this week I have my sweet and amazing friend Tanya, who I call "T" sharing with us her smart tips! She is a wonderful mother who makes life memorable with her girls. She hosts some fun, creative, and simply killer parties, and she's great about sharing ideas! The picture below is of her most recent party. She's truly talented!I know you will enjoy this one! Tanya does not have a blog, but she is my co-host over at Little Joyful Moments were we share craft ideas and more to do with your kidos, so come follow along there for more of her creative ideas. If you would like to share a tip with us please email me at jewelscprice@gmail.com. Enjoy your tip from Tanya below!

Hi everyone- I am a stay at home mom to 2 awesome girls and living on a my husband's teachers salary for a little more than 5 years has taught me to be creative and frugal when it comes to celebrating birthdays, holidays, and anything fun with our girls. We also decorate my husbands classroom (he teaches 3rd grade) for most holidays too. I always buy decorations the week after the holiday occurs. I have enough decorations to decorate our home and my hubby's classroom for next year for under $10. If you wait 2 or 3 days almost all stores will mark down to 90% off. The picture of the stuff I've gotten this week totals less than $8. I do this for each holiday. I have a shelf full of holiday decor waiting for next year! I will also buy party supplies when they go on sale. This helps if I want to do fun things with my girls or we do goody bags at their birthday parties. Target puts their party supplies on sale quite frequently and you can get great deals on plates, tablecloths, balloons, goody bags, and goody bag fillers. I also do this with kids clothes. At the end of the season I buy next years clothes for great discounts. It's easy for me because my girls haven't skipped a size yet and they are little so it's pretty easy to follow. If you have toddlers or younger kids I highly suggest waiting till the end of a season and stocking up on the clearance racks. Every store does this. Target, Gap, Old Navy, Gymboree, etc. I'm sure some of you already do this but I am always surprised by how many people don't think to check out the great deals you can get on these things. Happy Shopping!!!

Family Update: Nana Visits; we visit

We were so blessed to have Nana visit for a few days! The kids loved it and so did I.  Then... to give Daddy some time to work on his schooling (please keep him in prayer), we were able to get a quick visit with Dad Brown and Nana. It was so great to have quality time with them and the kids absolutely loved it. They got to sleep in a motor home (camp out for them) for the first time, visit sheep and see a real shepherd, hear Dad Brown bring the word, snuggle and watch movie with Dad Brown and Nana, enjoy the company of a little kitty and big doggy, and simply just being at Nana's!  They had so much fun! It was a true blessing! Thanks Dad and Mom! Love you guys!

So thankful that we have the Love of the Lord that allows us to feel love an share love! He is good!

On this Valentines Day I am praising the Lord for the love and the man he has given me!  It is through Christ love that we are able to love each other and enjoy each other! Today I am reminded of the importance to pray over our marriage and our love!  It is truly Christ's love that empowers and fills us to be abel to continue to love our Lord and love each other as He loves us!

 As for me I gave Tu a in home pedi and massage with the room decorated in lots of V-day fun!
 Good times!
And on Valentines day the kids just loved getting their simple and special gifts.
 Kids make each holiday so special don't they!

TIp Time #2: We all scream for Ice Cream!

It's Tip Time! Today I have a sweet and yummy tip to share...

Ice Cream, You Scream, We all Scream for Ice Cream
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What child, or adult for that matter, doesn't love Ice Cream? Mine sure do! It is always a special treat when they get to have Ice Cream, and they always enjoy it and share with us some squeals and screams of excitement!
The kids love special little cups, bowls, plates, etc; as do we! There is something about having a fun or fancy bowl, cup, plate, etc that makes the moment extra special! We often do wine glasses for Juice or even soda, special plates reserved for date nights at home, and other little fun extras that make the meal drink, or dessert that much more enjoyable! Try it! You will agree! So these cute little So these are a little way we like to make our Ice Cream time extra fun and exciting. Sometimes it is the little things that make life memorable! I picked these up a Ross, which is like TJ Max, for those who don't have Ross, for $4.99. Such a fun way to make our Ice Cream extra yummy and special!
The kids loved it and it makes our treat time so fun! Try it! Even for you and, or your Man!
It's so much more fun then an ordinary bowl! :)
This is just a little fun Tip that we hope inspires you to try this with your children and your family! Let us know how you made it special! I would love to hear and even feature you on the blog! Blessings to you all!
