Mama's Bday

So because I was so focused on Jaylin's 1st birthday, I had honestly not given much thought to my birthday. But the Lord had special plans for me through His wonderful and generous people! Last year I was delivering Jaylin on my birthday, which was a wonderful gift and a great surprise! This year was full of different surprises which too blessed my life! I am so grateful to the Lord for my sweet friends, family, and wonderful husband who truly made me feel so loved and cherished on my birthday! To start off a week before my birthday I received two packages from friends who are so dear to me! They both came with such love and creativity! Thanks friends! I love you girls and appreciate every effort and detail! p.s. (adding this later) Thank you to Ev for the beautiful wreath and to my amazing Aunt Ellen who showered me with a package full of love this week too! You all are so amazing and blessed my birthday so much!

Then my amazing friends/family (Kollene and Heather) blessed me with an amazing day! They came and watched the kids, and arrived at the door with a tea I like from starbucks, a beautiful bouquet of wild flowers, and they let me sneak away to workout and run errands. Then I came home and they had decorated my table with party plates, flowers, muffins, balloons, and brought in one of my favs (chipotle)! :) Yum! In addition they blessed Jaylin and I with gifts and their wonderful smiles and warm hugs were truly a God sent! Then to top it off Kollene treated me to a pedi! Wow! It had been a while and it felt so good! WOW! Seriously! These two are angels from heaven! I could just cry writing about them! I thank the Lord for ever sweet detail and effort they made to bless my day! They did! I am overwhelmed by their love and generous hearts! Thank you girls! I love you and praise God for you! You truly are angels!

While I was out running errands my sweet sister in Jesus and wonderful friend Noelle blessed me with such joy and fun! After working out and heading to my car this is what I found...

Then my amazing husband and kidos blessed me with a night out with Tu! He surprised me and took me to this fondue restaurant that we have been wanting to try! It was soooooooo much fun and so good! The best part was just being together and reminiscing about how fast time is going! Seriously! Time is flying! I am thankful for my man and for the way he loves me! He made me feel so special and treasured on my birthday! Thanks babe! I love you!

Then.... He surprised me with a new phone! WOW! I was excited! Truly! I feel spoiled... showered with love! Thank you JESUS for allowing this birthday to be so sweet! I have much to be thankful for!

Then my parents came up, my mom surprised me, which was amazing, and showered me with love and gifts as well! Truly! THey are amazing and always know how to make you feel special on your birthday! THanks Dad and Mom! Here are some of the fun things they blessed me with.

WOW! I can't begin to tell you all how much I love and appreciate your love! I have felt truly blessed and special on by birthday! Thank you to my amazing friends, family, and wonderful husband who made my birthday so wonderful! I appreciate every card, text, call, email, words of love, package, and gifts! I am richly blessed! Thank you sweet Jesus for each of these people you have brought to teach me more about your love for us!

A Rich Visit

We were blessed to be able to make a quick trip down to Southern Cali for a rich visit with our Nanny Sue. For those of you who do not know Nanny Sue's health has been struggling and cancer is the culprit. HOWEVER, WE know that God is GREATER, STRONGER, and the ultimate PHYSICIAN! We would love your prayers for our sweet Nanny Sue. She is truly an amazing woman of the Lord, and she is trusting the almighty! She is the mother of 15 children, yep she birthed 15 children, and has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and loves each with such intimacy. But the best thing about her is the Love she has for our Lord Jesus! IT's truly amazing! It's always a treat to see and spend time with her!

We are so thankful for our times with family! God is good!

Thanks dad and mom for having and helping us come down this week.

My parents were so generous to fly daniel up and have him drive down to So Cal with me while Tu finished up the week at work. It allowed me to be able to bring the kids down and spend some time with my parents and Nanny Sue.

The kids woke up each morning and with excitement said, "Mommy, when can we go see Nanny Sue?" On one morning I beat them to it and Tre said, "We get to see Nanny Sue again! I Love seeing her Mommy." Precious! THey sang and recited bible verses for her and spelled their names just to show off in front of her! She made them feel so proud at every turn! THanks Nanny Sue! Your the best!

My parents and I took the kids on a walk to a horse farm that they use to take me to when I was a little girl. It was so fun to listen and watch my dad explain how they train horses for the races to the kids, and watch my mom teach the kids about the environment around them.

He's 30 Part III

Here is the final part of Tu's 30th birthday! So Tu has never ridden in a limo, so I saved up some cash and wanted to treat my man to a special night of spoiling him! He had no idea the limo was coming! He thought we were just going to a nice dinner for his birthday. So when the knock came at the door and a man dressed up in a suit told Tu his ride was here, and he saw the limo the look on his face was unforgettable! Unforgettable became the theme of the evening! It was a true blessing to bless my man, and I thank the Lord for our special night together celebrating Tu. Here is what we did...

Then onto a little tiny hamburger place in the city. Tu enjoys hamburgers and sweet potato fries. It had great ratings and allowed us to get in and out and enjoy our limo... really it was all about silly fun

On the way home we passed by the Raiders Stadium and I gave Tu the news that I was taking him to a game! Yeah! He was excited!

Truly the best part of this night was just spending time with Tu alone and watching his face and excitement at each little surprise! He deserves it, and I am thankful to the Lord for the provision, blessing, and ability to be able to bless my man with a evening of celebrating him! It was truly Unforgettable! I praise the Lord for you Tu! Happy 30th babe!
