A Special 7 years

WOW! We can't believe it's been 7 years! Really! Time has gone so fast! It feels like we just graduated college and were married and headed to Cali. It is truly the Lord that has allowed our marriage to succeed and thrive! We have faced many joys and challenges in the last 7 years, but God knew that we would best face and enjoy them together! Tu, I love you with all my heart and I am thankful that the Lord has put us together! I pray many more years of the Lord's love uniting our hearts and souls! I love you babe! Thank you Jesus! To GOD be the GLORY!

Our night was a blessing! We visited the Cheesecake factory, where Tu proposed, had a lovely dinner and time of reminiscing on the past. Followed by a movie! A wonderful night celebrating such a special night that took place 7 years ago!
So the traditional gift for 7 years is copper or wool. We had to be creative and this is what we came up with....

My man was so cute and creative with a beautiful bouquet of yellow Roses,
tied with a wool scarf! So fun! I loved it! Great job babe! Way to be creative!

I went with copper and made a jar and filled it with "copper" pennies. On the front I made a little sign that says, "priceless LOVE." Including in the card that our love is worth more than any money could ever buy! Tu loved it and I love him!

Here is a look at our fun gifts

This was a yummy appetizer that we had. If you have never had it you have got to try it!
Think it's called something like tamale cakes.
Sorry, it's slipping my mind right now! But it's delicious!

Please lift our marriage to the Lord as you read this post and remember us! Please pray for God's love, unity, and protection over our marriage! I pray the same for you all... who are married!
Love in Jesus,
Jewels

Reds were in town

The Cincinnati Red's were playing the SF Giants so I decided to surprise Tu with tickets to see the game!
We spend the evening downtown and enjoyed a date night out! Had some great Tacos from a friends recommendation, and headed to the game. It was a great night overall and we enjoyed just hanging out! Tu loved the surprise and I loved just being with him for the night out! God is good! Times together are so important for our marriage! Even if it's grabbing a coffee, or packing lunch and doing a picnic at a park, walking together.... SOMETHING! It's so vital to keep dating! Thank you Lord for this sweet night to enjoy the marriage you have given us!
Pray someone specifics marriage today! Prayer changes things!!!!
Blessings,
Jewels
