Revive

~Revive~
Revive me O Lord, for Your name's sake! psalm 143:11
So in January some of my dear friends chose a word to focus on for the year. I loved the idea, but could not decide on a word. Well the last two months while I was completing my devotion through the book of Psalms the Lord kept speaking the word REVIVE into my life.
Psalm 119 is full of this word as well as the whole book of Psalm, but it was when I heard the Lord's still small voice saying to me, " My dear daughter... I will REVIVE you, for your healing, joy and freedom, and for My purpose and glory!" The tears began to flow as I turned the pages through Psalms to review all the times the Lord spoke to me about REVIVING me.
And it is with these verses that I share my word for the year! I am excited and looking forward to how the Lord will revive me, my Walk with HIM, my Passion and LOVE for HIM, my call, our marriage, my life as a Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, and Friend.
I look forward to all the Lord will teach me during this year! Please pray for me/us when you think of us that as He Revives us that we would Reflect Him MoRE!
Many blessings my friends,
Jewels

Valentine's Adventure

The Lord has given Tu and I a love trying new things and exploring new adventures. Here is the Valentine Adventure the Lord allowed us to go on this last weekend.
WOW! What a wonderful weekend! Tu and I were able to spend some time together this weekend as my mom came and offered her loving care for the kids. Of course we had to take Jaylin as she is still so little and depended on mommy :), but we had a great time!
This was our first time to Santa Cruz and it was a wonderful blessing! Tu surprised me with the location and he selected a beautiful spot near the water.
Although the weather was not the greatest at first we made the most of it. It rained pretty consistently the first day of our stay, but we bundled up, grabbed our umbrella and headed to find some fun in down town. The Rain didn't damper our day as we walked through the adorable shops, grabbed some hot drinks from a local coffee shop, visited book stores, enjoyed some yummy meals and sweet time talking and enjoying each other. We even saw a movie which was great. It was so relaxing and rejuvenating.
Here are a couple pics of the hotel and the view! Thank you JESUS!
Just look at what he spoke into existence! Truly amazing!
We enjoyed a wonderful morning and view of God's amazing creation as we sipped coffee, had some amazing food and convo, and gazed upon the water. Unbelievable! Isn't God so good!
So this my dears was my very delicious breakfast from the hotel restaurant! This was the best Huevos Rancheros I have ever had in my life! It was by far my favorite treat of the weekend! The hotel restaurant won some type of prize for it! All I know is that if we ever go back to Santa Cruz I would have it again! Probably real healthy too ;) lol, but extremely yummy!
Jaylin and her daddy at breakfast. Arn't they so sweet! As good as my huevos rancheros was... I would take these two for a second over any treat! I love them both to death and praise Jesus for the time I have with them!
The Lord brought the sun out on our last day and we were blessed to be able to walk the peer with no umbrella :) We walked in the early morning had some breakfast on the peer and then walked the cliffs on the other side of the hotel. It was beautiful!!! And if you like to surf Santa Cruz is a great spot for that! We had fun watching the surfers on our walk too.
Here is one of our little stops in down town. It was a great little bistro and if you can believe this Tu's hamburger was only $5.00. That was a steal! Maybe I can use the money we saved to by a new set of earrings as Jaylin stole one of mine that night (missing in the picture) and I didn't discover it until way later. Yep, I was walking and sportin the one earring look. Tu and I just laughed about it. This picture just makes me laugh seeing it! AWE... good times!
We had such a great time talking, eating, laughing, being together and spending the day down town exploring a new place!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And while we were gone Tre and Aaliyah and Nana were having some fun of their own! We were able to join in the fun when we returned with Nana treating the kids to a bounce house, which they LOVED! Nana also bought the kids a hummingbird feeder which they put up in the back yard. They LOVED spending time with their Nana. It was such a blessing! THanks mom for your amazing heart to serve and bless us! Your selflessness was a true blessing to us!
They were so excited about their hummingbird feeder! Go Nana!
And here is a pic of my mom and I! I just love her to so much! Our time together is such a blessing and I love when she comes and we get her to ourselves! My wonderful hubby let us go shopping and have a girls time the night before she left! It was short but so sweet! I love when she gets to come! Thanks mom! Love you so much!
Overall an amazing weekend that we thank the Lord Jesus for! We know He is the one who gives us these opportunities to love on each other and we are so thankful!
Blessings and thanks so much for stopping by. Have a blessed week!
And She Scraps....
FINALLY...
So as much as I love to scrapbook it has been hard for me to do lately. Between us all getting sick x's 3, adjusting to Jaylin's new schedule, and keeping up with life I have had little time to sit and scrap. BUT the day before my mom came to watch the kids so we could celebrate our Valentine's weekend I was able to squeeze this layout in of Jaylin. Over at personalscrapper they were doing a crop and I was able to complete this layout for their February crop. I was so glad to just get one done! Yeah! So I hope to scrap some more in the upcoming months.... But honestly it all depends on how long all three kids will nap at the same time. That is always my goal, but then I do have to share those two precious hours a day for other obligations like... doing laundry, making dinner, cleaning toilets, you know the glorious jobs :) for now I am rejoicing in this layout add to our family legacy.
blessings...
Thanks for stopping.
~LOVE~ LOVE~ LOVE~
I LOVE...LOVE...LOVE Valentine's Day! Growing up my mom always made this holiday so fun with something sweet and little for us to enjoy!
I hope to always pass that love to my hubby and kids too!
Here are a few pictures from our Valentine's Day. Hope you all had a great time and felt and shared the Love of JESUS! What a great day to share His love with others!
We had a fun time at home just enjoying each other. The kids and I made cookies and dinner for daddy! And when Tu got home we put the kids little Valentine's gifts on the table for them to open. I had found these fun little mail boxes at target. So we filled them with stickers, a sucker, and a cookie. Just perfect for the kids. They love anything they can open and put little toys in so we knew the mail boxes would be a hit! They sure were! Later they had fun decorating them with their new stickers! It was great to watch their faces light up with excitement. They were so thankful too; which made it that much more precious!
Thank you Lord for a wonderful day to show and share love!
Kids are enjoying ever minute of their suckers!
Okay, so the kids had more fun sneaking licks of frosting and sprinkles then actually making the cookies. Check out Aaliyah's fingers! Caught in action :)
Jaylin is joining on the Valentine's Dinner! Yummy!
Tu got the "You are special Plate" Because He is so special to us! We love Him and are so grateful for what a hardworking and loving husband and daddy he is! I also surprised him with a book I had made for him. He LOVED it!.... And I loved watching his face! It was priceless!
Tu surprised me with a beautiful card and sweet words as well as sparkling cider! He did something different this year and brought me flower seeds instead of flowers! It was super cute.... specially because one of the sweet things he says to me is that he wants to plant me and grow a whole field of me. So the seeds and planting tied in perfectly! AWE! Thanks babe!
Isn't my man a sweetie! Thank you JESUS!
I love this sweet picture of Jaylin getting her Valentine's love from her daddy! Overall it was a wonderful time together! Thank you Lord for allowing us to experience and feel love! He (the Lord) is so generous in this way! He Loved us and allowed us to not only feel that love but love Him and others as well! Truly a wonderful gift!
Thanks for stopping to say hi!
Little Moments
Oh my. This weekend was so fun, and the start of this week has been good too! I have so many things I can share for Wonderful Wednesday News! But here are a few of my favorites...
Thankful for this look on Tu's face. The look says he is completely enjoying and surprised by his gift (a book I mad him for Vday). A precious moment indeed; I love it when I get to bless him with something he really likes.
Getting ready for church and watching the kids hold hands, and hearing their little voices give directions to each other which include...
(TRE)--- Aaliyah, don't hold my hand...
(Aaliyah)--- "Okay Tre"
(TRE)---Aaliyah, You got your bible?.
(Aaliyah)--- "Yes Tre Tre I got my bible"
(TRE)---Aaliyah, You got your cup?
(Aaliyah)--- "Yes, Tre Tre I got my cup.... I got my cup"
It's so cute and funny all at the same time! Thank you Jesus for these moments!
My little bro (who's 20) sent us flowers for Valentine's Day! Seriously, what a blessing! A true selfless heart! So generous and so sweet! Brought joy to our day! The kids were almost as excited as I was! It was such a treat! I thank God for Danny's heart that brought a joyful moment to our week!
Experiencing Aaliyah's first interest in headbands was a sweet moment this week. We were reading a book from the Library and the little girl had a head band on in the book. Aaliyah said, "Mommy, what is in that little girls head?" I told her it was a head band and asked her if she wanted to see one of mine. She was so excited! So I let her try it on and that was it! The rest of the night she pranced around in her penguin jammies (which she loves) and her headband. She even wore it to church the next day. It was so cute!
Oh, these moments with the kids I don't want to forget!
Thank you Jesus for the little moments that make life so much fun!
God is so good! While life is not perfect He gives me moments of Joy that make my heart sing! Thank you JESUS!
House to Home!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I pray you have a blessed Valentine's! Know that you are loved by God the Father!
So our pastor is doing a new series called House to Home!
Today's message was on Marriage and it was such a blessing!
Please pray for God's protection over marriages! I encourage you to stop right now and lift up 2 or 3 couples specifically and their marriages. The Lord has been reminding me about the importance to pray for other marriages as well as our own! My prayer lately is that the Lord will PROTECT and REVIVE the marriages I am praying for! Including my own! It's so important to pray over our marriages!
Check this message out; it's a true blessing!
The picture is of a card that my dear friend bought me in college and I loved it so much I wanted to alter and keep it!
Have a blessed week in JESUS!
Serious Cereal!
So this weekend was Jaylin's first taste of rice cereal. She has been watching and grabbing at everything we eat so we decided it was time to start the cereal. She was so serious the whole time. It was funny to watch. So different then her siblings... unique in her own little way already. Here are a few pics from her first few bites.
Crown N Crumpet
This Wednesday I am so praising the Lord for Friends! God has blessed me with many women that I consider friends and I am so thankful for each of them and how they sharpen me.
When we moved to Camarillo the Lord allowed me to meet my dear friend Noelle! She is a beautiful lady on the inside and out! She is kind, generous, loving, fun, loyal, open, honest, and she passionately loves JESUS! I can truly say her friendship sharpens me commanded in Proverbs. She is a blessing to me and on this Wonderful Wednesday I am praising Jesus for the gift of friendship! Thank you JESUS!
So this past weekend was Noelle's b-day weekend. To celebrate we went to Crown N Crumpet a tea boutique in Gherideli square in San Fran. It was great fun. Great fellowship with the girls and fun to celebrate Noelle's b-day.
