Valentines Get Away!

So this weekend my mom blessed us and came and watched our kiddies while Tu and I got away for a weekend to celebrate our Valentines Day and just spend some time together. It's the first time we have been able to get away overnight without the kidos since Aaliyah was born and it was such a blessing! We had a wonderful time! Here are a few details and pics from our weekend.

We road the train from our town to San Luis Obispo, checked out the quaint little college town, had lunch, and hopped on a bus to head to Pismo Beach. It was so much fun! We had quite the adventure! Because we road the train we did not have a car and so we walked everywhere, and praise the LORD He held the expected rain and gave us beautiful days and such a beautiful time together! It was amazing and truly so much fun! Oh, and I forgot to mention we were able to sleep in! YEAH! :) 8:00!!! Never thought that would be considered sleeping in :) But it sure felt GREAT! It was an amazing trip!

Marvelous Monday~

Okay so usually Monday's arn't so marvelous. Usually I dred them because after spending the weekend with Tu he has to go back to work. But today it was a beautiful sunny soc cal day and my hunny was home with me and the kids~ It has been such a great day! We have just relaxed and enjoyed the time together!~

This weekend we took the kids to the San Diego Zoo. We had purchased year passes before we moved 4 hours away. So for V-day we went to Murrieta, our old town stayed the night and went to the zoo the next day. It was a beautiful day, but oh so crowded! It literally took us 45 mins to find a parking spot. We were praying we would find one, and Tu gave us about 15 more minutes and we would leave. Well, God is good and we found a spot, unloaded the kids and went in!

We had a great time and the kids LOVED seeing the animals! It was so fun!

We stayed for a few hours and then headed to meet my mom, bro danny, and grandma Nanny Sue and some cousins for a V-day Dinner! It was sweet time together! Such a great Valentines day even after the crazy crowds!

We got home late last night and have been enjoying our Monday together! I pray your having a marvelous monday too~

Scrapbook Get-ONLINE CROP!

Weekend Wrap-up & Monday

This week and into the weekend was a little crazy, but I did get to celebrate with my dear friend Noelle for her b-day. We (the girls) all went out to sushi; yummy :). It was such great fellowship, and I was blessed that my wonderful hubby let me go. The rest of the week was a little rough, but God is good and got us through!

After a week of sickness traveled through both kids and rain, rain, rain this weekend we stayed in and spent time together as a family! We had fun just enjoying time together. On Sunday the sun came out and we were able to go to church and come home to watch the super bowl. We had pizza and the kids loved eating in the living room. That was so exciting for them. Or, if you know my kids they may have just been excited to eat! (that's nothing new :) lol!

At Practical Scrapper the challenge this week is to use brads~ Go over and check out the cute ideas, and submit a layout of your own for a chance to win! Here is my layout. The small pink buttons are bards. Oh, Lord, Am I really ready to be prego again :) lol!

MIA and Scraproom

Hey all! So sorry I have been MIA. We have had internet issues and did not have the net for four days. It seemed like forever! I wasn't able to upload anything for my DT's this week. So, my What's up Wednesday for Everyday Scrapper will be up next Wednesday. Sorry for the craziness! As for Practical Scrapper my die cut layout should be posted later in the week.

But the good news is that my amazing hubby blessed me with a desk given to him from the school he works at for my scraproom. So, that started us on re-organizing my scrap space. He helped me build the shelfs and I organized. It's not totally done, but here are a few pics. I am so thankful to the Lord for blessing me with a home that has a space for me to craft in. Plus, now that we have internet fixed Tu and I can hang in there together. Of course he will be working or watching games and I will be scrappin :) Thank you Lord! I am so excited and so thankful to the Lord and Tu for blessing me with such a gift! I am so so blessed!
