Practical Scrapper!

Have you been over to Practical Scrapper?
Come check it out! It is so "Practical" :) lol!
Seriously though, what I love about it is that they encourage you to use your stash!
What a great idea, especially in this economy! So come check out the weekly challenges, and right now there is a tri-challenge with Frosted Design and Stuck on U Sketches. It's so much fun! I am so blessed and excited to be apart of their design team and working with these talented ladies. Thank you Jesus! God is good!
Blessings to you all! Thanks for hangin with me tonight! This week is also 3 ribbon challenge, and here is the card I made for it for a friend who turned 30.

TGIF~

Thank God it's Friday!
I am so thankful for today!!!!
I have a few things to share, so bare with me...
I just love Fridays! With Tu working at a school, and coaching football most weekdays are packed with activities, and even some Saturdays. So on FRIDAYS he gets to come home early (around 4), and we so look forward to it! He actually does an amazing thing with his team, well to tell you the truth he does a lot of amazing things with his team (things that teach the kids about life and the importance of living like JESUS and using their talents to glorify Him). And another one that teaches them: This is one that encourages "Family Time" and I love it! The practice before game day he has the team practice in the early am (6am) so that they (and we) can have time to spend with family in the evening. It such a blessing and we so enjoy our time together! SO tonight, I am not sure what we will do, but we will definitely be thanking Jesus for Friday and lovin on each other with "time spend!" I am so blessed to have a husband that loves football, coaching, and mentoring kids for the glory of JESUS, at the same time makes his family a priority and his number 1 ministry! Thank you JESUS for Fridays, and thank you JEsus for my Boaz, my man who puts you first and family second!
Okay, so over at Diana's blog she has posted a challenge called 30 days of random acts of kindness. I love this challenge because it is a great reminder to see others and let others see JESUS. Diana is such a blessing and radiates Jesus! So, I wanted to share how the Lord has again blessed me by peoples random acts of kindness, and how I am hoping to bless others.
Okay, so we had the captains, and the senior football boys over for dinner on two separate occasions, and it was truly a blessing. It is crazy because they walked in "both times" from different families with flowers and dessert. I never asked them to bring a thing, we just wanted to bless the boys, and yet, they blessed us. It has been unbelievable the kindness we have been shown from this community. They are such a blessing! Thank you to you all who continue to share the Love of Christ through your kindness! Here are my desires for sending Random Acts of Kindness this weekend:
* A special goodie and note for my hubby
* Painting with my kids, they love it
* Offering to watch friends kids
* Letters of love to (2 friends)
* Praying for my sweet friend Jen who is struggling with her health
Okay, so here is a layout I completed this week. There will be more to come of Aaliyah's 10 month "apple" photo shoot. Tre even joined in. It was fun, but this is one of the pages complete for now. I have a few more floating around in my mind I hope to get done soon, but my focus is on Sis's 1st birtday which is the 2nd, but we are celebrating on the 15th. I am currently working on Aaliyah's birthday book to display at her first b-day. I need to finish by next week :) I also make a few cards for the challenge at Practical Scrapper this week, but will post later. Thanks for hangin with me for a few precious moments of your time! Blessings to you all and enjoy your Fabulous Friday!

LA County Fair 09

So we went to the La County Fair a few weekends ago, and I am just getting to post a few of the pics. Tre absolutely LOVED all the animals and is still talking about it. Aaliyah would just point and smile at everything! Tu and I had a great time spending time together and with the kids!
We were blessed with a coupon to attend which gave us free meals too! What a blessing! The Corn dogs never tasted better :) lol I alway look forward to corn on the cob at the fairs, but this year I returned mine twice; it was sooooooo nasty. Besides that we had a great time just hangin out at the fair and enjoying the kids excitement! Oh, and one more thing...
WE just couldn't believe how big our little Tre Tre is. He was old enough to ride the bummper cars with his daddy. I would never have though at 2 he would be tall enough. WOW! Time is flying!
Enjoy the pics and have a blessed day!

Enjoying Football

Well, It is football season, well in to it as many of you know, but we are doing our best to make the most of the time! Even with Daddy as the head Coach, and lots of time commitments, we have been able to enjoy the football season! It's all about perspective! First of all watching my husband coach/mentor those boys is such a blessing! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband who loves JESUS first, puts us, his fam, as a priority, and still impacts lives for JESUS! You are doing a great job TU!
This season has been fun to watch him connect with the boys. While, it is a sacrifice of time for our family, the Lord continues to teach me it's about perspective! My perspective makes all the difference, but I do have to say that I have an amazing husband that does such a great job at balancing football and family and including us! The kids love going to the games, especially Tre! He says, "go daddy, go, go" every time we go to the games. It's too cute! Well, this last week we were away and so the game was early in the day 3:00. The kids had so much fun! With Aaliyah walking it's so cute to see them run around together. Here are a few pictures I got! Not the best because my battery was dying, but better than nothing! It was so fun! Thank you JESUS for my hubby, our kids, and our season enjoying what could be less time together!
Go Eagles! God is so good!

Aaliyah is such a sweet girl, and we are so blessed to have her.

* Eating lots of soft finger foods; boy does he like sweet potatoes and cheese :)
*Growling (her daddy loves to teach her the lady like manners :)
* Pointing and noticing everything
* Climbing
*sleeping with a big girl blankie (still small, and only at naps)
*saying : dadda (that's her fav), mamma (with a lot of coxing :), bible, water, and bird
She is just precious and we love her to death! Thank you Jesus for our baby girl!

October Scraps

So I have been able to get some layouts done this month and a few altered items too! Okay so they aren't all fall themed; some aren't close, but they are my pages! I am excited because I am getting to scrap my little Aaliyah too. Here are a few layouts. Some of them are from a crop over at Personal Scrapper and others I worked on, and one, the second one was inspired by a sketch at 52 Sketches. It has been great to get so much scrapping done! Oh, and I can't forget a big props to my sweet, sweet, hubby who brought home an extra desk from the school(they were going to toss) for my scrap room! I love it! Thanks babe for thinking of me! You are the best! Okay here goes a few. More to come later... :) Blessings to you all and thanks for looking!

Prayers & Provision

I know it's a tough time financially right now for many in our nation, including us. But God is faithful and when we choose to place HIM first He provides all we need!
WOW! I can't begin to tell you how faithful the LORD is! I will give you a quick peek into our last couple of months and you will see how God has provided in so many ways! He is good! Even in tough times!
Well, it has been tough on us financially lately. With little room to spare in our budget for extras, a recent flat tire ($200.00) and a light tap/ fingernail scratch (accident) to another car (me :() ) this last weekend ($600) has put us in a tough spot. Not to mention we had about 10 dollars in our account until next pay period and just enough food to scrap by on some canned foods and bread. I am not exaggerating.  I don't like talking about how we struggle financially when there are people all over the world without half of what we have, so I know I am blessed to have so much. However, this is a time I want to share to show the faithfulness of God and how He cares about all the details of our lives!  Anyway, we I made some decisions not to go placed to save on gas, so we would make it to the next pay period, and on Saturday, while at home, I went to check the mail (which is right outside our house) and I found a envelope that said, "Thank you Price family for all you do" I opened it, thinking it was a thank you note from one of the players on Tu's team. Well, I still don't know who's hands dropped it in our box, but I know it was a direct answer to prayer and a true gift from GOD!
Thank you JESUS! Inside the envelope was a $40.00 gift card to Trader Joe's(groceries) , and a $50.00 (gas) gift card to Shell. As I held it in my hands all I could do was cry, and say...
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~THANK YOU JESUS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was the two things that we desperately needed to get us to through. Man, I stand in awe of the Lord's faithfulness! God is soooooooo good! I went to Trader Joe's Yesterday and got some food for the week as I was walking out the Lord spoke to my heart and gently reminded me of three things:
**********1. Prayer of Wisdom: The importance of praying for our needs and asking Him for wisdom and balance to know how to manage the funds He provides
    2. Prayer of blessing: Praying blessing upon those who have blessed us!
    3. Prayer of being a blessing: Praying the Lord would show us who and when to bless someone else with what He has given us!
           4. Prayer of Thanks: Just praising Jesus for all we have and all HE is!!!
*****************************************************************
I am overjoyed and thankful to the Lord for providing, I pray the Lord blesses those who gave ten fold, and I pray that I continue to pray and rejoice in His faithfulness to Provide! God is sooooooo good! Luke 11:9-13!!!   THANK YOU JESUS!
Thanks for praising our Provider Our KING; JESUS!
Give Away take II
Details of how to make this yours below!!!
Okay, so this is take two of the give away with MORE included! Even a mini album by Creative Memories! The other items include: 2 Fall paper packs by CM, One fall goodie bag (also pictured separate), and some buttons! Well, hope there is someone out there that might be blessed by this!
A few weeks ago I won a RAK over on Janine's blog. (thanks Janine you are so sweet!) She was so very generous, and I was so blessed by it. It got me thinking and the Lord began to speak into my life regarding being generous!  So....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Proverbs 11:25
The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.
This is a verse the Lord has placed in my mind over and over again.  Oh, how I long to be generous so that I might be rich and that I might be watered as I water! Not rich as in money, or wealth, although He could bless with that, but mostly rich in CHRIST. My desire is to be generous so that I might be rich in HIS kingdom! That I might have His attributes and character poured out on my life as I am obedient to His call to be generous!
The Lord has been teaching me much lately about being generous and giving out of the abundance that he has given to me! I have so much to be thankful for, and yet there are times when I just fail to realize how much I have.  WOW! Does He bless me! God is so good!
With that being said, I have made it a goal to go through some of my abundance and bless someone else. My mom and her friend went to the LA a while back and brought me back oodles of button blessings which will be included in this give away.
The Lord has given to me and I hope that you are blessed by this little give away. I hope to do another one very soon, so stay tune! :)
***********************************************************************
