The 5 Year Proposal!

It Started with a ROSE...   Read the story below...
A single rose started our evening December 12, 2003 as Tu surprised me and took me blind folded to multiple stops, one of them being the CheeseCake Factory (where he asked me to be his girlfriend), it was there that he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wifie!  The night was amazing and was followed with seeing Christmas lights, dancing, and a candle lit toast with sparkling sider of course :) and hours of talking and calling our family and friends to share the exciting news. It was truly a night we reflect on all of the time!
Not long after that I returned home to plan the wedding and was making many arrangements. Through some unfortunate circumstances I had lost my ring. I was devastated and still get sick to my tummy when I think about it. I called Tu hysterical. He was so gracious and understanding. I will never forget what he told me. He said, "We have each other, and that ring served it's purpose." Although so sweet it was heart breaking and embarrassing for me. I only shared it with a few people until the Lord showed me that it wasn't about the ring. His word says LOVE never fails, not rings! :)
Well, I have had a ring that was not real for 5 years and it really has not been any big deal, but July 10th 2009 on our 5th year anniversary my wonderful and gracious husband recreated our proposal and bought me a new ring! Not to mention he found a ring that was almost identical to the one he got me the first time.  What a blessing he is, and I thank the Lord for all He taught us through this! LOVE (centered in CHRIST) never fails. Material things don't matter; I would rather have LOVE! Well, after years of learning and growing the LORD blessed me with a new ring through a husband that is so gracious, loving, and kind! Thank you Tu for a wonderful night of recreating our proposal! It was a night to remember!
Oh, and it was totally a GOD thing because I was planning on getting Tu a new band and engraving our wedding date and "LOVE NEVER FAILS" on the inside... so it worked out perfect! What a blessing the evening was!
The last picture is a collection of the roses I received including the yellow ones left on our door step by my parents (thanks so much Dad and Mom).  Also there are two frames in the pictures, one I made Tu when we first started dating and the second was his "wood gift" the traditional 5 year gift. His wood gift to me was my ring box! :) WOW! A truly amazing night!
We thank the LORD for it is all to HIS glory! THANK YOU JESUS FOR our MARRIAGE!

Anniversary Surprise Weekend!

WoW! Where do I start? My husband is such a blessing! I thank the Lord Jesus for him! This weekend July 10th we celebrated our 5th year anniversary! It was such an amazing weekend! We are so thankful to Jesus who is the glue that binds us together who has given us 5 great years. We praise the Lord for each moment He has given us together!
Well to start Tu brought home a beautiful card and 60 roses, for 60 months of Marriage! It was amazing! I was glowing! The roses were so beautiful and I love fresh flowers, and it was such a blessing to be able to put them all over the house; it was just unreal! It felt like something out of a movie to get that many roses at one time!
Tu then surprised me with a night at a bed and breakfast type hotel in Santa Barbara. It was absolutely beautiful! I can't describe the coast in words, but no wonder everyone wants to visit this place; breath taking! It reminded us a lot of Hawaii. It was just beautiful and the weather was amazing! We enjoyed walking around the beach, putting the kids feet in the water, having a nice dinner, and most of all enjoying the moments as we celebrated our 5 years together.  It was a beautiful time together! Thank you Tu and Thank you JESUS!

It's been a While

Okay, so it has been a while since we have updated our blog. This adventure the Lord has us on has been a non-stop roller coster and we are excited to catch you up on how life has been for the Price family. It has taken some time with two little ones to move our whole lives three hours away and adjust to normalcy again. Oh, and not to mention the craziness that comes with moving, saying good bye, getting sick, the summer months which include dentist and dr. appointments, random excursions, graduations (and parties), weddings, anniversaries, Fathers Day, U-turn for Christ Pig Roast, b-day parties, bbqs, vacations, mini-trips, holidays, and visits with family and friends. Our last few weeks have been full and have included a little of all of these things. I will try to post some pictures to catch you up to speed. Here are a few pictures from our move, the 4th of July, and some random ones. Thank you to Brad Swab for blessing us with a moving truck. Noah & Kassie, Andrew Swabby, Justin, Moodie, Randy, Jonathan, Danny B, Josh, and all the football players from the new school, and the staff here who helped on this end! The welcome food and all the help you have provided. It has been a blessing to see the body of Christ up here really work to help us get moved and adjusted. The Lord is so good! Okay so here are some pics. Enjoy Tre is loving the back yard!
